What a treat!  This could be a photo of the last known native Burmese cat in Thailand or Mirmar (Burma).  Plans are underfoot to bring him here and CFA has sent forms to get this new line registered.  It will take awhile, but what fun to have a native Burmese cat.  Burmese are the original little brown cat but the crazy breeding here has changed their appearance dramatically.  This little boy has all the Burmese characteristics regarding personality and intelligence, and this is what most folks look for when getting one.  Stay tuned for updates!!

Consider micro chipping your pets.  If they get lost, they are more easily found as most vets and shelters scan the animals they bring in.  Better than a collar that can be pulled off or caught on something and choke your pet.  Just try to keep them from escaping out an open door.

HEROS!!! is putting it mildly.  These two babies just over

 1 day old were moved inside a cabinet by mama Sophia

  in Jean's house where they fell through a crack in the back

  of the cabinet and couldn't  get out.  Suzy's husband, Don, and  

  Kim's husband, Paul, came to the rescue and saved these tiny kittens

  from a terrible fate.  The guys came equipped with crow bars, saws,

  big hammers to do whatever it took to save the babies but, thankfully,

  it didn't come to that.  The babies are doing great and Jean's

  nerves are nearly back to are nearly back to normal. 

                  Yea!!  Don and Paul!!!! Gold stars!!!!      

 

 

The Lebo kittens have grown so much. I

am sure Santa will recognize them.  They

bring a present of an ornament from their tree

to the family every morning.  Little con artists

Phoebe American Traditional Burmese 2 yrs 2 months,  Rockford, European Burmese 1 yr 5 months.  Kojak, American Traditional 11 weeks is Suzy and Don's baby who just went to live with these guys.  He just fit right in with the others. Well, he is a Burmese.

We invite any serious inquiries and are happy to talk to you about any of our cats and kittens.  Be sure all family members are in agreement about acquiring a new pet for your home.  It is the pet that suffers in the long run when all of the family does not welcome a loving furry companion.  It is a lifetime commitment.

 

 

Please make sure you or your family are not allergic to cats before you take kittens home.  It is hard on the kittens to be in that situation and have to get used to still another new home.  Stress will make kittens sick and we ask you to keep their adjustment to a new home as stress free as possible. 

 

Take vacation or trips before getting your kitten or at least a couple of months after you take one home.

We don't mind keeping baby a couple of weeks longer so you can be at home with them.  Bonding is very important in having a healthy, happy new friend.

All of our cats are pedigreed and most are show quality.  We only have Burmese cats and kittens.

These are some of the kittens we have just placed.

American Traditional Blue ^ Females 3 weeks old.  At 6 weeks, they are still babies, nursing, just walking and running good and MUCH TOO YOUNG to leave home.  At 10 - 12 weeks, they have found the litterbox, are weaned and eating dry and moist kitten food and are much more independent.

Don't forget we have gift certificates and birth certificates with great graphics and a photo of your kitten for Santa to send, as well as for other occasions.  

Step 1
Gift wrap a Gift Certificate with a photo of the kitten.   We will even provide you with a photo as the kitten gets old enough to come home.   The recipient can have the fun of getting email and photos while they wait.  They will also have an opportunity to learn how to care for a small kitten by reading the informative documentation provided by Casa Del Gatos.
